East Coast Classics is pleased to offer this one owner, 98K mile, Honda CRX Si.The previous owner purchased the car from Miami Honda, and always did regular service at the required intervals. She loved this car, and believe you me, it was difficult to convince her that we would find a good home for it. If it weren't for the fact that I caught a glimpse of this car while driving through my neighborhood, we never would have seen it, and it would still be sitting there waiting to be enjoyed. That said, we purchased this vehicle out of long term storage, and want it to go to a loving, enthusiast home. After initial contact, and when the previous owner decided she was willing to sell, I went to go see it, andshe had charged the battery up, and remarkably, it was in running condition. I was pleasantly surprised to find everything in working order. Once we finalized the deal, she wanted one more drive and she delivered it herself! Definitley one of the best experiences I've had in my 30 years of buying classic cars. Once I had the car in my possession, we changed the oil, spark plugs, spark plug cables, and charged the AC. We had it resprayed in it's original red, and the paintwork is a 7 out of 10. There is some overspray on the driver side headlight and turn signal, easy fix for the new caretaker. The passenger side tail light has a crap and is missing a small piece (see pics). The rear center reflector has some spider cracks, and the trim piece just under the tail gate has a couple dents in it. ALso, and we will be fixing this, the body shop incorrectly reintalled the rear wiper arm in the down position (shoul dbe in the up position), and when I turned onthe rear wiper, it scratched the rear decklid. The bad part is that it scratched it, the good part is that I'm getting it fixed, and hey, the rear wiper works! The sunroof was rusty, and I quickly learned how hard it is to find parts for these. As such, we replaced the sunroof with a carbon fiber reproduction piece. As is typical with aftermarket parts, the sunnroof is a little smaller than the original, but is fine for a driver quality car like this one. I call it driver quality, but this is probably the best driver qulaity CRX you'll ever find. It should be noted that there is no leaking of any kind coming from the sunroof. Aside from a tear in the left bolster of the driver seat, the interior is in excellent shape. This CRX still retains it's factory radio, and the entire interior is in its unmolested, original condition. The engine always starts right up and it runs and drives great. It shifts flawlessly through the gears. The AC was upgraded to R134a, and cools as it should. When we purchased the car, it did not have the factory wheels. We were lucky to find a nice set with the center caps, and wrapped them in new tires in the factory size. This CRX is being offered for sale to the right buyer. I know it sounds corny, but I can't just sell it to anybody. I promised the previous owner that I would find it a good home, and I intend to fulfill that promise.
